Assumption Catholic Church will sponsor a lecture by Rev. Dr. John T. Pawlikowski, OSM, Ph.D, Professor Emeritus of Social Ethics at Catholic Theological as part of its programming for  the Season of Creation.  The lecture, entitled “Caring for Creation:  Ethical and Spiritual Perspectives” will take place in the parish hall.  Free parking will be available in the parish parking spots in the 311 W. Illinois building.  Fr. Pawlikowski is the co-editor with Rev .Richard Fragomeni of the book THE ECOLOGICAL CHALLENGE (The Liturgical Press).  He served as principal theological consultant for the U.S. Catholic Bishops’ Statement on Energy Issues
